AEW Dynamite Viewership Increases On 8/10, Remains Top Spot On Cable

AEW Dynamite viewership saw a slight increase on August 10 for their Quake by the Lake special.

According to Showbuzz Daily, 972,000 viewers watched the show on Wednesday night, and it drew a 0.33 rating in the 18 to 49 demographic. The viewership was up from the August 3 episode when 938,000 viewers tuned in. The demo rose slightly from last week‘s episode, which drew a 0.32 rating in the same demographic.

With the increase in viewership, AEW Dynamite remained in first place in the demographic among cable originals overall last night for the second week in a row. The numbers put them ahead of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills for the seventh week in a row, according to Showbuzz Daily.

This week’s show kicked off with Darby Allin defeating Brody King in a Coffin Match. The main event saw Jon Moxley defeat Chris Jericho to retain the Interim AEW World Championship. Following the match, a brawl between the Jericho Appreciation Society and Blackpool Combat Club broke out, which led to the surprise return of AEW World Champion CM Punk, who had a staredown with Moxley to end the show.
