Grayson Waller wants it all.
The WWE NXT 2.0 star has been featured as a prominent player in recent months, and he intends to take over on NXT and, eventually, the main roster.
During an appearance on Beyond The Lead, Waller was asked about his goals, and he responded by describing his quest to be the best.
“I don’t tend to like specific goals, and I don’t tend to say them out loud,” said Waller. “It’s kind of something I keep to myself, but the main thing I wanna do is, I wanna be the best. I didn’t get into this to just be another guy. I think a lot of people, if they had the career I’ve had so far in NXT, they’d be happy, and I think people at NXT are happy in the position they’re in. They’re happy to just be featured or they’re happy to have a match every few weeks. I’m not. I want everything.
“I gave my heart and soul to this business, so I wanna get the most out of it. So my goals are take over. If that means in NXT, that means I want the NXT Championship. I wanna pin Bron Breakker because no one’s doing that. If that means on RAW and SmackDown, I wanna go out there and I wanna be the best on the mic, I wanna be the best in the ring. I wanna do it all.”
Waller went on to emphasize that he’s never content, as he’s always pushing forward.
“I have short/term goals, I have long-term goals,” said Waller. “But the main thing is, I’m never happy. I’m never happy. At Stand & Deliver, that was a cool moment, I could do it in front of my friends, all my family at home was watching. I had a huge WrestleMania weekend moment. But that night, I was like what’s next? What’s next? That’s just kind of the person I am. I need to have drive. I need to have something to move forward to because otherwise I’m gonna get stagnant, and that’s just not me.”
