Mustafa Ali might be on his way back to WWE TV.
According to Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select, WWE has internally discussed Ali’s return to television, with one pitch calling for him to appear on the April 25 episode of WWE RAW. As always, plans often change, especially with WWE.
Ali has been absent from WWE programming since last fall. At first, he took some time of due to the birth of his daughter, but Fightful reported that he only asked for one week off at that point in time. Ali reportedly had an argument with Vince McMahon, so he has been left of TV. Ross Sapp notes that Ali hasn’t been backstage at WWE in months. The former RETRIBUTION leader requested his release on January 16, but WWE has not granted it.
Ross Sapp later reported that Ali is “tentatively scheduled” for WWE RAW on Monday.
