AEW Battle of the Belts II viewership is in.
AEW presented its second Battle of the Belts special on Saturday night, April 16, 2022. Brandon Thurston of Wrestlenomics reported that the Saturday Night Special drew 527,000 viewers, 240,000 of which were in the key 18 to 49 demographic for a 0.18 rating.
Compared to the first Battle of the Belts special on January 8, this episode was down in both total viewership and the key demographic. This second special dropped 25% in total viewership and 32% in the key demographic.
Saturday’s show, which was headlined by Thunder Rosa successfully defending her World Championship against Nyla Rose and saw Sammy Guevara winning his third AEW TNT Championship, ranked number 10 overall among cable originals and 28th overall when including broadcast primetime shows for the day.
