It was a pretty emotional moment last night when Triple H was introduced to the WWE talent during a backstage meeting before WrestleMania 38.
According to Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select, Triple H was introduced to the talent as a surprise by John Laurinaitis, who kicked off the meeting last night. Triple H discussed his health challenges, and it was said to be an “emotional scene” with many talents being genuinely thrilled to see him there. There has been plenty of talent on the WWE main roster who haven’t seen The Game since August of last year.
Triple H concluded his portion of the talent meeting by introducing WWE President Nick Khan, who he referred to as “a friend of over ten years.”
According to Sapp, Nick Khan revealed that “talent will now make additional money/profit participation on top of their Superstar contracts for revenue generated from third-party platforms. We’re told this includes Cameo, autograph signings, scripted and unscripted programming.”
Sapp has heard back from multiple talents who considered this to be a “great, unanimously positive meeting.”
