EJ Nduka and Calvin Tankman are the new MLW World Tag Team Champions as they defeated 5150 on the March 31 episode of MLW Fusion.
The final moments of the match saw Rivera go for a dive to the floor, but he inadvertently took out Slice Boogie instead. Nduka took advantage of the miscue and caught Rivera on the way back in the ring and hit multiple running turnbuckle slams, then he hit a powerslam before Tankman got the pin after a running Shooting Star Press.
5150’s title reign ends at 112 days, as the duo initially won the titles at War Chamber in November 2021. This is the first respective title reign in MLW for bothNduka and Tankman.
