Big E has returned home after he suffered a broken neck on the March 11 episode of WWE SmackDown.
On Friday night, Big E landed on his head during a botched suplex from Ridge Holland. The former WWE Champion was stretchered to the back, and he subsequently revealed that his neck was broken. He offered an update the following day by noting, “My C4 and C6 are indeed fractured, non-displacement though which is a really good thing and I don’t have any damage to my spinal cord, no ligament damage and no surgery which I’m very thankful for and a pro tip, if you’re going to break your neck, do it in Birmingham. They’ve been great.”
In a tweet on March 15, Big E responded to a fan’s well wishes by stating that he’s back home.
Appreciate you, man. I’m actually home now but Birmingham took good care of me.

In his message, the fan-favorite star noted that the doctors in Birmingham took “good care” of him.
It’s currently unknown how long Big E will be out of action. His injury occurred during a tag team match where he teamed up with Kofi Kingston to face Holland and Sheamus.
WrestleZone will provide more details as they become available.
