Wardlow took on Max Caster during Wednesday’s episode of AEW Dynamite, and he took down one-half of the Acclaimed to earn a spot in the Face of the Revolution Ladder match at AEW Revolution.
In what turned out to be a relatively quick match, Wardlow overpowered Caster, though he nearly went down when he was hit with a chain by Anthony Bowens. But in the end, he kicked out of a quick pin by Caster and hit his signature powerbomb for the win.
With this victory, Wardlow qualified for the Face of the Revolution Ladder Match, which will be held at AEW Revolution. The winner of this bout will earn a shot at the AEW TNT Championship. Keith Lee previously qualified for the bout with a victory in his AEW debut last week.
