Goldberg is coming back to WWE.
Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select reports that the WWE Hall of Famer is returning to the company, with the current plan for him to compete at the Elimination Chamber event in Saudi Arabia. Per Ross Sapp, the latest plans Fightful heard called for Goldberg to challenge WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns. This match was supposed to happen at WrestleMania 36, but it was canceled when Reigns pulled out of the show due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Ross Sapp acknowledged the possibility that these plans could change, and he noted the differing answers Goldberg has given about the terms of his WWE deal; in his report, Ross Sapp cited sources who believe Goldberg’s WWE deal will be up after this next match.
The WWE Hall of Famer has previously discussed his future and stated that he has one more match on his current contract.
