1/31 WWE RAW Scores Highest Viewership Since August, Ranks First On Cable

WWE RAW viewership increased substantially on January 31.

According to Brandon Thurston of Wrestlenomics, 1.865 million viewers watched the show on Monday, just two days after the WWE Royal Rumble premium live event. Thurston notes that this number marks RAW’s highest total viewership since August 30. For comparison, last Monday’s show drew 1.766 viewers. In the 18 to 49 demographic, RAW scored a 0.47 (615,00) rating, which is the highest number since the Survivor Series fallout show on November 22; last week’s show drew a 0.46 rating (602,000 viewers).

Per Showbuzz Daily, RAW ranked first overall in the key demographic on cable on January 31.

The hourly breakdown is as follows:

  • Hour 1: 2.083 million viewers, 0.52 demo rating

    Hour 2: 1.879 million viewers, 0.47 demo rating

    Hour 3: 1.633 million viewers, 0.43 demo rating

The first hour drew an average of over two million viewers, the first time any hour for the show reached this milestone. Viewership dropped off in the third hour; it fell to 1.633 million viewers.

This week’s show featured the fallout of the Royal Rumble premium live event. Brock Lesnar and Ronda Rousey appeared following their respective wins in the 3o-person battle royal on Saturday. Plus, new WWE Champion Bobby Lashley kicked off his reign and found out who he’ll be defending the title against at WWE Elimination Chamber.
