WWE NXT 2.0 will kick off 2022 with a bang, as the brand will hold a themed episode with its first show of the year.
As confirmed during WWE NXT WarGames, the January 4, 2022 episode will be the “New Year’s Evil” special. No matches have been announced yet, but WWE will fill out the card in the coming weeks.
The brand debuted this show on January 6, 2020. This episode was headlined by a title bout in which Finn Balor successfully defended the NXT Heavyweight Championship against Kyle O’Reilly. In another buzzworthy bout, Raquel González defeated Rhea Ripley in a Last Woman Standing Match.
