In-Ring Segment: Brock Lesnar
Lesnar says he’s here for one reason only: the Universal Championship. Before Lesnar can finish his thought, Sami Zayn interrupts. Zayn says it’s about time their path’s crossed. They are so much alike and have so much in common. Zayn says he’s just here to tell Lesnar he’s a fan. Lesnar tells Zayn to shut up and he has no idea of Zayn is. Lesnar says Zayn has a lot of balls interrupting him. Before Zayn can answer, Lesnar threatens to rip his head off.
Zayn says he’s the number one contender for the Universal Championship. Lesnar laughs. Zayn says after he defeats Roman Reigns at Day 1, he’ll give Lesnar a shot. Lesnar says they are trying to play him. Zayn looks confused. Lesnar says Zayn should demand his shot tonight. Lesnar backs Zayn down and strongly suggests Zayn do it tonight. Zayn refuses. Zayn puts his hand on Lesnar’s chest. Lesnar grabs Zayn’s hand and squeezes it. Zayn agrees to stop the pain… because it… um… came for him. Lesnar tells Zayn he wants to witness this first hand, so he’ll be in Zayn’s corner tonight.

Backstage, Zayn is looking for Adam Pearce. Sonya Deville tells him he’s having travel issues. Zayn says he may have accidentally agreed to take his title shot tonight. Lesnar walks up behind Zayn. Deville books Zayn title match for later tonight. Lesnar asks if he’ll be facing the winner at Day 1. Deville quickly agrees.
