In-Ring Segment: Kayla Braxton
Kayla welcomes the crowd to the show and says she has news about Brock Lesnar’s indefinite suspension. Before Kayla can finish, Roman Reigns and Paul Heyman interrupted. Heyman takes the mic from Kayla. Heyman mocks Kayla over the “rumors” she is referring to. They don’t do rumors on the island of relevancy. Heyman says Kayla is just trying to take the spotlight for herself. Heyman says he’s ashamed of Kayla for her shotty reporting.
The next time Kayla needs to present facts instead of presenting rumors to the Tribal Chief. Heyman tells Kayla this is her queue to leave the ring. Kayla leaves. The crowd chants for Brock. Reigns takes the mic and says rumors only give losers false hope. Reigns says he has beaten everyone here. Lesnar is the biggest loser of all. Reigns flew all around the world and smashed Lesnar’s ass. Big E is also a loser because Reigns beat him at Survivor Series.
Reigns says management is getting desperate. Did they book a battle royal? Reigns laughs and says maybe three or four people should win. Reigns will smash them all and he’s the greatest of all time. When Reigns days are done around here, which could be sooner rather than later, the whole world will acknowledge him.
Jeff Hardy and Drew McIntyre vs. Happy Corbin and Madcap Moss
Corbin attacks Hardy as soon as the bell rings. Moss walks into an armdrag by Hardy. McIntyre and Hardy hit a combo splash/fist drop. McIntyre and Hardy take turns working over Moss. Hardy sends Moss over the top. Corbin tries to attack but Hardy sends him flying off the apron with a clubbing blow. Hardy dives off the apron and clotheslines Corbin. Hardy celebrates. Moss clothesline Hardy over the barricade into the timekeeper’s area.
After the break, Corbin and Moss are working over Hardy. Hardy manages to tag in McIntyre. McIntyre clears the ring. McIntyre calls for the Claymore. Moss distracts McIntyre. Corbin counters the Claymore with deep-six. McIntyre eventually drops Moss with a Claymore. McIntyre tags in Hardy, who crushes Moss with a nasty Swanton Bomb for the win.
