Finn Balor will finally get his shot at the WWE Universal Championship next week on WWE SmackDown.
Balor challenged the champion, Roman Reigns to a match at the end of the show on Friday night. He stated that he didn’t want to wait, so he chose the following episode of SmackDown for the date of the bout.

“The Head of the Table” blew off the challenge while Balor and the Street Profits brawled with the Usos. But after the show ended, WWE confirmed the title match for next Friday.

Reigns initially agreed to face Balor for the title several weeks ago, and the two men were literally signing the contract for the bout when John Cena swooped in and signed the dotted line instead. Reigns defeated Cena at WWE SummerSlam, and Balor will now get the opportunity to challenge for the tite.
