Jimmy Uso has once again been arrested for driving under the influence.
According to a report from TMZ Sports, Jimmy Uso (Jonathan Fatu) was arrested on Monday night after he was stopped for driving 50 mph in a 35 mph zone in Pensacola, Florida. After he was stopped around 10:35 pm, police smelled alcohol and asked him to exit his car.
According to the report, Uso was “noticeably swaying” when he got out of his car and he admitted to police that he’d consumed “multiple” beers before driving on Monday night. Uso was then asked to take a blood alcohol content test, which resulted in a BAC level of .205, just over two-and-a-half times the legal limit.
The report stated this was one of two BAC tests Uso took (the other came back .202); he was arrested on a misdemeanor DUI charge and issued citations for speeding and running a red light. Uso is still in jail and being held on $500 bond.
Jimmy Uso has been arrested multiple times in the past several years due to alcohol-related incidents. Uso was most recently arrested for drunk driving in July 2019, also charged with DUI in Pensacola. Prior to that, he was arrested in Detroit for a drunken dispute with police and was charged with disorderly conduct and obstruction, and also had been arrested for a DUI in 2011.
Uso had recently returned to WWE TV after missing more than a year off due to injury. Jimmy returned to SmackDown on May 7 and has been part of an alliance with WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns and his brother, Jey Uso.
