WWE is shaking up its pay-per-view calendar this year.
On Sunday, the company announced that WWE Hell in a Cell will be held on June 20.

Typically, the event is held in October. Previous reports suggested that Money in the Bank would take Backlash’s place as the June pay-per-view. Clearly, that is no longer the case.
Last year, the show was headlined by a WWE Championship Hell in a Cell match between Drew McIntyre and Randy Orton. The first WWE Hell in a Cell show was held in 2009.
Update: Andrew Zarian of the Mat Men Podcast and Wrestling Observer reports that WWE Money in the Bank will be held in July with live fans in attendance. This development could explain the schedule change, as Money in the Bank is typically a buzzworthy show, so WWE might want to use this occasion for the return of a live crowd.
