Bianca Belair’s first challenger for the WWE SmackDown Women’s Championship will be a blast from the past.
After Belair defeated Sasha Banks to win the title, “The EST” will defend the gold against Banks’ predecessor, Bayley. At WWE WrestleMania Backlash, Bayley will challenge Belair for the title in an attempt to reclaim a title that she recently held for over a year.
The news was announced by WWE in a tweet that what fans can expect to see on tonight’s episode of Friday Night SmackDown. Bayley spent most of WrestleMania 37 jumping into various segments and lamenting over her lost title. Now, she’ll have a chance to redeem herself in the ring against Belair, the new champion who is riding high off her WrestleMania moment.
