Kyle O’Reilly Thanks Cameron Grimes For ‘Doggy Coin’, Beats Him In Hard-Fought Match

Just a few weeks removed from his triumph over Adam Cole at NXT TakeOver: Stand & Deliver, Kyle O’Reilly returned to WWE NXT.

At the beginning of the show, he contemplated his next move and hinted that he wants to challenge WWE NXT Champion Karrion Kross. But Cameron Grimes came to the ring before O’Reilly could officially challenge Kross. Grimes thanked O’Reilly for helping him make a lot of money when he defeated Cole. In response, O’Reilly thanked Grimes for helping him profit through “doggy coin.”

Still, O’Reilly rejected Grimes’ pitch for an alliance, so the two stars clashed in the main event. Grimes held his own, but O’Reilly was just too much for NXT’s resident millionaire. He drilled Grimes with many stiff strikes and trapped him in a vicious heel lock.

Though Grimes persevered, O’Reilly eventually put him away with a diving knee drop for the decisive win.
