SmackDown Women’s Championship Match: Sasha Banks (c) vs. Bayley
Banks and Bayley lock up and end up jockeying for position in the corner. Banks gives Bayley a clean break. Banks walks the ropes and lands a deep arm drag. Banks reverses a waist lock by Bayley into a Bank Statement attempt. Bayley managed to roll under the bottom rope to escape Banks’ signature hold. After the break, Banks trips Bayley on the apron. Bayley’s face slams into the apron. Banks gets a near fall after a slingshot double knee strike. Bayley rolls out to the apron. Banks tries another double knee strike but Bayley kicks Banks into the air.
Banks slams face-first into the apron. Bayley only manages a two count. Bayley works a rear chin lock. Bayley forces Banks into the corner. Bayley misses a splash in the corner. Banks sends Bayley into the corner. Bayley floors Banks with a clothesline. Bayley sits Banks on the top rope. Banks kicks Bayley away. Banks lands a diving double knee strike. Bayley rolls out of the ring. Banks dives off the apron and clobbers Bayley with a nasty flying crossbody.
After the break, Bayley sends Banks into the announce desk with a ranna outside the ring. Bayley sends Banks back into the ring. Bayley sets up her diving elbow but is knocked off the top by Banks. Banks hits a diving elbow off the apron. Banks lands a frog splash for a near fall. Bayley tosses a kendo stick in the ring. The referee picks it up and tries to get rid of it. Bayley slides in the ring with a chair.
Banks kicks the chair out of Bayley’s hand. Bayley hits a backstabber, the Bayley to Belly, AND a diving elbow but Banks kicks out. Bayley lands another flurry for a near fall. Bayley puts Banks in the Bank Statement. Banks reverses it into a pin. Bayley kicks out. Bayley charges in but Banks moves out of the way. Bayley runs shoulder-first into the ring post. Banks locks in the Bank Statement. Bayley taps out.
Winner and STILL SmackDown Women’s Champion, Sasha Banks!
As Banks is walking up the ramp, Carmella appears and superkicks Banks. Carmella drops Banks with the X-Factor on the stage.
