After defeating Dolph Ziggler at last night’s Friday Night SmackDown to earn a spot on Team SmackDown at Survivor Series, Kevin Owens spoke with WWE backstage about the win. According to Owens, he’s now ready to become a team player, and bring a big win to the SmackDown brand.
When asked about how he felt after his win, Owens was asked about how he feels when it comes to teaming up with SmackDown superstars. Owens said that while his team ups with superstars in the past hasn’t gone well, he’s ready to be a team player. Owens went on to say that although he’s had issues with people in the past, Owens wants to put that behind him, and become a changed man. His opportunity at Survivor Series is a great chance to do that, he says, so it’ll be interesting to see just how much of a team player Owens is at the next pay-per-view.
