More information about the contract between WWE and the City of Orlando has come to light, as it relates to WWE”s use of the Amway Center.
Thanks to a recent report from My News 13 Orlando’s Greg Angel, the full contract between both parties has been detailed, with Angel stating on Twitter that the deal extends 78 days, up until October 31. Angel also reports that WWE is paying at least $200,000 to rent out the Amway Center, with money going towards Sunday events, Monday/Friday events, and with WWE also paying for any other days the company may be working inside the building.
With WWE using the extra space the Amway Center offers to build out its Thunderdome, it seems as if the move has been successful so far. With fans able to virtually watch, shows have been given a breathe of fresh air.
