Rusev claims his WWE career coming to a close was the end of his time in wrestling.

Once Upon a Time, Rusev entered WrestleMania on a tank to step in the ring and battle John Cena. Now, Rusev spends all his time battling on the virtual front on Twitch and YouTube.

Following his WWE release on Wednesday, April 15th, 2020, Rusev has been streaming regularly on Twitch. He has been using this time to engage more with his audience and share fun stories from his time on the road. But, it looks like this may be his full-time gig moving forward.

Speaking on a recent Twitch stream, Rusev (via Fightful) revealed that he is done with professional wrestling and now wants to be your favorite professional content creator on YouTube and Twitch.

“I’m done. I’m done, man. I’m just enjoying my Twitch. I’m a professional Twitcher, YouTuber, content creator.”

He would also reveal that he has shared conversations with Vince McMahon through text messages but has not spoken to him formally since being released.
