Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Ring of Honor has continued to cancel its live events through June. But Alex Shelley took to Twitter to praise the company for the way it has operated during this difficult time. Shelley stated that Ring of Honor has paid him for shows despite the fact that these events didn’t take place.
Also, let me add some positivity: @ringofhonor paid me for numerous shows I had agreed to. This is despite the fact that I am a free agent and currently available to and negotiating with other companies if I am being forthright and honest. This was so wildly appreciated.

As Shelley points out, this payment is even more noteworthy because he is currently a free agent. Shelley thanked the company for paying him despite the challenges imposed by the pandemic. It’s unclear if other Ring of Honor stars have also been paid for appearances during the pandemic.
