Last night’s SmackDown started with a chaotic scene, as WWE reported that Elias had been struck by a car in a hit-and-run that resulted in him needing hospitalization. Now, the company has released a recent update on the status of the superstar.
According to WWE, Elias is still in the hospital, and has suffered broken ribs and a torn pectoral muscle as a result of the hit-and-run. After initially being arrested last night, WWE also reported that Jeff Hardy was released by the Orlando police, and has been absolved of any and all charges.
