Jake ‘The Snake’ Roberts got a lot of people talking last night, and the wrestling legend is calling his AEW Dynamite appearance one of the best nights of his life.
Roberts ended up confronting Cody Rhodes on last night’s show in Denver and said he was tired of hearing him cry and bitch in the ring after losing to MJF. Jake then cut a promo and said he was there to save Cody, and said he had a mystery client on his way to All Elite Wrestling. The WWE Hall Of Famer said he was there to take Cody’s proverbial piece of the pie and said he wasn’t there to play nice.
This morning, Roberts thanked DDP and AEW for the chance, as well as himself for never giving up on his battle with sobriety. As noted last night, Jake said it’s been a 20 year battle for him staying clean, but he’s earned it.
