During a recent appearance on The Broken Skull Sessions on WWE Network, Big Show sat down with Steve Austin to discuss his career, and in a new clip released by the company, he spoke about how Vince McMahon treated him compared to someone like Andre the Giant.
“Vince never put me in an Andre category,” he said. “From day one, Vince wanted more for me than Andre. He saw the size, he saw the presence, but he also saw my intelligence, saw my charisma, saw my charm. Vince always wanted more for me, not to settle.”
Big Show went on to say that he thinks McMahon got a little angry at him early on during his career, as he used to settle for being “one of the boys.” He goes on to say that it took some time to develop more “aggressive” instincts, and judging by the legendary career that he’s had, things went very well for him.
