Pete Dunne and Matt Riddle took down Imperium during tonight’s episode of NXT, advancing in the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic and setting up an incredible final match between them and the Grizzled Young Veterans. Now, the two tag teams will meet at NXT Worlds Collide, where they’ll compete for the right to claim the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Tournament trophy.

Dunne manages to tag in Riddle, who clears the ring. Riddle fisherman busters Aichner. Dunne and Riddle use Aichner as a human kick pad. After a miscommunication with Dunne, Riddle ends up in the ropes. Aichner and Barthel land stereo dropkicks. Barthel and Aichner drop Dunne with a wheelbarrow/diving DDT combo. Riddle breaks up the pin. IMPERIUM tries a tossing suplex but Dunne reverses it into a double wrist lock. Aichner tries to break it up but Riddle slaps on an ankle lock. Barthel gets to the rope. Riddle goes up top. Aichner cuts Riddle off. Tossing brainbuster by Barthel and Aichner. Riddle counters the European bomb with a ranna. Barthel dives off the top into a German suplex by Riddle. Riddle and Dunne hit their finisher on Barthel for the win.
