Tonight’s episode of Friday Night SmackDown started with a bang, literally, as Kane himself made a surprise return to the ring, where he revealed that he would taking part in the upcoming Royal Rumble pay-per-view. Before he could go into much else, though, Firefly Funhouse began to play, and before long, The Fiend was popping out of the ring, where he attempted to sneak up on Kane.

Unfortunately for The Fiend, Kane was ready for a surprise attack. Turning around to face him, Kane watched as Daniel Bryan got the upper hand, diving into the ring and landing a brutal flying knee to the head of The Fiend. Before he could get away, Bryan forcefully ripped some dreadlocks from The Fiend, before leading the crowd in a chanting of “Yes!” with Kane looking on.

After the match, Bryan was caught up with backstage, where he challenged The Fiend to a Strap Match at Royal Rumble. It’s clear that these two are not fans of one another, but Bryan now wants to make sure he’ll always have The Fiend within arms reach during their match.
