After starting off strong with the debut of NWA Powerrr on YouTube, the reborn National Wrestling Alliance has lost quite a bit of momentum. Plenty of that is due to the departure of Jim Cornette thanks to his controversial commentary, overshadowing the prerecorded episodes and forcing some hasty repackaging of content.
Saturday marks the company’s first reemergence onto PPV, and what many in the company hope will be a fresh start. NWA is still announcing matches for the show, presenting two women’s bouts via social media earlier today. Thunder Rosa will be taking on NWA newcomer Tasha Steelz in singles action. Meanwhile, Rosa’s partners, Melina and Marti Belle, will be fending off Ashley Vox and NWA Women’s Champion Allysin Kay in a tag team encounter.
