Former WWE Intercontinental and Tag Team Champion John Morrison is coming back to WWE.
Ryan Satin made the news official on WWE Backstage as WWE confirmed the signing. Morrison most recently had a stint in IMPACT Wrestling as Johnny Impact, where he won their heavyweight title. He’s also been in big matches in both Lucha Underground and AAA since his last WWE run.
Morrison famously tagged with The Miz and was on the WWE main roster from 2004 through 2011. He broke in through Tough Enough III, which he won with Matt Cappotelli. He’s won two Slammy awards and the ECW World Championship.
