Madison Square Garden has announced that WWE Legend Steve Austin will be returning to RAW sooner rather than later. Just a little over a month after RAW Reunion, the Rattlesnake will be headlining Monday Night RAW as it emanates from the World’s Most Famous Arena.
Stone Cold took to Twitter to comment on the announcement, saying that it’s been too long since he’s performed in WWE’s “home base.” It will be the first time that WWE returns to the Garden in a decade.
I cannot believe it has been so long. Time flies by. The Garden is home to many of my favorite moments in my career. @BretHart in #survivorseries @undertaker in #summerslam #highwaytohell and stunning @VinceMcMahon for the very first time. Along with many others.

These MSG shows will come one week before NXT comes to USA as a two-hour live broadcast. It’s clear that WWE is looking to build some momentum in the face of AEW’s TV debut in October. Meanwhile, it’s clear that Steve Austin is hoping to promote his USA show “Straight Up Steve Austin” as it continues its first season.
