The expectations are high for NXT UK Takeover: Cardiff in the wake of the brand’s first Takeover which went down in Blackpool. The show is set to take place on August 31 which, as has been spoken about at length, is set to be an incredibly busy day for the pro wrestling world with both NJPW and AEW also hosting shows.
Now, fans of NXT UK can look forward to another big match-up on the Cardiff card, with Joe Coffey vs. Dave Mastiff being confirmed on this week’s episode of the show. The two men are set to blow off their feud, with the most exciting aspect of the match being the Last Man Standing situation. Given the in-ring style of the two, we’re bound to be in for a hard-hitting affair in the Welsh capital on what is bound to be one of the biggest nights in British wrestling this year.
