Over the course of the last three years, DEFIANT Wrestling (formerly known as WhatCulture Pro Wrestling) has served as one of the premier forms of entertainment for fans of the independent wrestling scene in the United Kingdom. Now, after three years of joy, the promotion has closed for the final time. WCPW / DEFIANT was the springboard for a series of high-level British talent, and in addition to that, they also showcased some of the best talent outside of WWE at the time of their booking.
WCPW / DEFIANT served a real purpose throughout the existence of the promotion, and it will be sorely missed.

Sad news. I'll always be thankful for the opportunity given to me by WhatCulture and enjoyed doing WCPW.
Despite the criticism, WCPW offered huge exposure for incredibly talented guys like Kirby, Hendry, Conners and more. It felt special.
