Renee Young has been a full-time member of the RAW announce team for less than a year. As a commentator for WWE’s flagship show, Young is firmly in the public eye and, as a result, she receives criticism from the fans. On Saturday, Young responded to one critical fan on Twitter. “I know I’m not great on commentary, but it’s my job,” Young wrote. “I try to get better each week. People love to tell me how bad I am at it as if I think I’m great at it. So I should just quit? What would that say about me? Not easy to learn a skill on a gigantic global TV show.”
Here’s the truth. I know im not great on commentary, but it’s my job. I try to get better each week. People love to tell me how bad I am at it as if I think I’m great at it. So I should just quit? What would that say about me?Not easy to learn a skill on a gigantic global tv show

A number of wrestlers were quick to defend her, offering their support after her initial tweet.
People don’t appreciate how hard that job is. I’ve done it a couple times. I’m 1000X worse at it than you are.
