Harley Race was scheduled to appear at the Fanboy Expo in Knoxville, Tennessee, this weekend but had to pull out due to some health issues. He went to the hospital on July 12 and announced the cancellation on July 13. Earlier this year, Ric Flair had said that Race had “terminal lung cancer,” although his team said it wasn’t terminal.
Now through his official Twitter account, we know that he’s still at the hospital under care from doctors. “There isn’t any time table for any situation as his health is of utmost priority,” wrote his team. “We will be releasing more info later this afternoon. Thanks to everyone for their concern and continue the thoughts.”
