It was a successful New Japan Pro-Wrestling debut for Jon Moxley. The former Dean Ambrose took on IWGP United States Champion Juice Robinson in a great hard-hitting match during the finals of the Best of the Super Juniors tournament.

Neither man was dominant, as both competitors got a bunch of offense in during the bout. However, it was Moxley who was victorious after hitting his new finisher the Death Rider after Robinson kicked out of his regular DDT.
