Mark Henry recently joined SiriusXM’s Busted Open radio to discuss last weekends Money in the Bank, and how his favorite aspect of the pay-per-view was Bayley finally taking a shot at the belt.

After winning the Money in the Bank ladder match and becoming the WWE SmackDown Women’s Champion by defeating Charlotte Flair, Henry thinks she can make a great champion. “I know exactly what she can do… be a great champion. That’s exactly what she can do. I think the last conversation that I had with her was go and take it, like, you’re not a placeholder, you’re not here to teach anybody anything, you need to go and be a champion,” he said. “Get out there and go own it.”
Henry also discussed how the edge that Bayley showed during her cashing in of the Money in the Bank case was something we haven’t seen from her before, and how great it was. “And we saw a woman with more edge than I’ve ever seen her before. Bayley didn’t have the aggressiveness that she showed…when she handed that briefcase over, you freeze frame her face…she was about that life, boss,” he said. “She was ready to get it, and that was a different Bayley then we’ve seen in years past, and it was attractive, and I thought that was the thing that made the pay-per-view for me.”
