The Sun recently interviewed WWE tag team The Revival about being at a creative low point in their WWE career. However, Dash Wilder has made it clear that it doesn’t phase them. “We work great with chips on our shoulders. We work great being a-holes. That’s just something we’ve always used to fuel us and help us get where we wanted to go. We’re on the right trajectory.”
Scott Dawson admitted that it has been an up and down experience for them as a team and Dash shed some light into why he thinks everything went downhill when it did. “The momentum we had in NXT from 2016 to 2017 was unreal but then the back-to-back injuries really slowed things down. But you can’t dwell on things too long. We had to dust ourselves off.”
Wilder said “We’ve taken influences from Japan, Canada, Texas, New York… anything that’s good. We also learned a lot from bad wrestling.” Wilder & Dawson have been 2 of the rumored superstars that have asked for a release from the company. They were reportedly offered $500,000 contracts to stay with the company and no comment was made on whether or not that contract was accepted.
