During an NXT live event match in Omaha, NE last night, referee Tom Castor, unfortunately, broke his leg, but he wasn’t the only one to get hurt during the house show.
According to a tip from David Miller, Raul Mendoza was also hit with an injury during the show. Thanks to a report from the tip, it looks as if Mendoza suffered a knee injury early in his match against Jaxson Ryker, with the match being called prior to an official ending. This is a rough combination of news, especially with Castor also getting hurt.
The severity of Mendoza’s injury is unknown at the moment, but expect NXT or Mendoza himself to update us further when more information becomes available. In the meantime, hopefully both Mendoza and Castor are able to recover in a quick manner.
