WWE SmackDown kicked off with “the best in the world,” Shane McMahon. He came out to discuss Roman Reigns punching his father last week. “What type of man hits another man’s father like that?” asked Shane before calling it disgusting.

“It was like defacing Mt. Rushmore,” said Shane. As such, there were going to be repercussions. He teased a fine and a firing, but ultimately came up with the idea of having a match and settling it inside the ring.
Reigns then came out with a microphone in hand but then tossed it aside. McMahon followed suit and then the two were about to fight before Elias caused a distraction. This allowed Vince’s son to get in some cheap shots before Reigns got an advantage that was then neutralized by the team of Shane McMahon and Elias.
The duo ended by hitting Reigns with a “driftaway.”
