After Becky Lynch said Charlotte Flair was bringing nothing to the triple threat match, Flair said she’d prove her wrong. She did just that by challenging WWE SmackDown Champion Asuka for the belt.

The two picked up where their WrestleMania 34 bout left off as the two competitors were equally paired. Each had brief advantages throughout, but none were dominant early on as their opponent kept battling back into the fight.
Eventually, Asuka got her opponent in a vicious looking submission maneuver. The champ then turned it into a roll-up attempt after Flair almost slammed out of it. However, Charlotte kicked out and started to gain control again until she ran into a pair of double knees.

The end eventually came after Flair locked in the Figure Eight.
