Indie wrestling star Joey Janela suffered a gruesome knee injury at last evening’s Game Changer Wrestling show in New Jersey.
According to PW Insider, Janela suffered the injury when attempting to perform a dive outside the ring on Psicosis. Janela then returned to the ring to finish a shortened match, which ended when he pinned Psicosis after somehow managing to deliver a superkick. Janela was noticeably limping and later took the mic to apologize to the New Jersey audience.
A fan in attendance shot the following video of the exact moment Janela was injured; but, fair warning, it is gruesome:

Janela also offered the following via Twitter:
Not looking good ? sorry to all the fans tonight in Asbury Park. Just got to the emergency room, let’s hope for the best… if not then I’ll come back better than ever! https://t.co/Y37niQ6pwJ
