WrestleMania 35 will be making some history. According to the latest issue of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter (subscription required), the WWE’s biggest event of 2019 will be headlined by two women for the first time ever. Vince McMahon has reportedly decided to headline the event with WWE RAW Women’s Champion Ronda Rousey going up against WWE SmackDown Women’s Champion Becky Lynch.
The match was originally supposed to happen at WWE Survivor Series this weekend, but is no longer the case due to Lynch suffering a concussion from Nia Jax. However, it looks like the injury will just give the match a bigger stage and more hype, as it’s currently planned to be the WrestleMania 35 main event.
