WWE Gives Balor Injury Update
WWE.com has posted the following update in regards to Finn Balor’s shoulder injury that let to him relinquishing the WWE Universal Championship:
Finn’s injury was pretty severe, more severe than normal. A really high energy injury, it did more damage than a standard shoulder dislocation where you simply tear the labrum. The prognosis is excellent, however. We were able to fix it all and put it back where it came from. I’m anticipating him getting back at full speed.
Chris Jericho Comments On Balor’s Injury
The latest episode of Talk Is Jericho was released earlier today. During the episode Jericho takes some time to address Finn Balor’s injury from this past Sunday at SummerSlam. Jericho tells a story about Finn feeling bad for himself because of his injury until he saw a person at Good Morning America that only had one arm. He went on to say about Finn, “He’s got it all. He didn’t lose the title. He has this amazing character that we don’t know anything about and then he goes out for 6 months with an injury.” Jericho finished by saying that he hopes Finn returns by WrestleMania 33 and is better than ever.
For those wondering, no, he does not mention his altercation with Brock Lesnar during the latest podcast.
