John Cena To Miss WWE Backlash PPV?, Smackdown Women Stake Their Claim, Alexa Bliss Sends a Message, American Alpha (Videos)

John Cena

PWInsider.com is reporting John Cena is not currently advertised for the newly announced WWE Backlash pay-per-view, which takes place on September 11th in Richmond, Virginia.

It could be speculated that Cena may miss the first WWE Smackdown Live branded PPV as he is currently advertised for WWE’s upcoming event in Shanghai, China the day before, which is also a WWE RAW live event.

Cena had recently made headlines for narrowly making it to RAW in Detroit after flying right from ESPY rehearsals in Los Angeles, but not even factoring in all logistics, a flight from Shanghai to Richmond itself would be 17.5 hours.

Women’s Division

The following video features a segment from tonight’s WWE Smackdown Live where the Women’s Division competitors all try to stake their claim as top star following Becky Lynch win over Natalya.

WWE has also released a Smackdown Fallout video featuring Alexa Bliss warning the Smackdown women not to “bliss” her off.
