Lucha Underground Reportedly Losing Money, Update on a Show’s Fourth Season, TV Tapings & Possible Movie

According to The Wrestling Observer, a source noted that after two seasons, Lucha Underground has lost slightly less than half of what TNA lost after 10 years in business.

It’s being said the promotion will have to raise funds and/or sign deals to bring in money for a fourth season to happen. As noted, a third season of Lucha Underground has already been announced, and the company reportedly has enough capital for third season TV tapings through mid-May. Following the May tapings, Lucha producers plan on having all of its TV taped through summer 2017.

In related news, there is talk of having a Lucha Underground movie produced for 2018.

Inspiration in his life has come from many people including his family, Woody Allen, Steven Spielberg, Jack Nicholson, The Beatles, and of course, Lassie.
