According to live reports from tonight’s WWE NXT television tapings at Full Sail University, NXT star Samoa Joe attacked NXT Champion Finn Balor and turned heel.
The segment will air as part of the November 4th broadcast of NXT on WWE Network. The whole thing happened towards the end of match featuring Balor and Apollo Crews. Baron Corbin ran down and attacked both men to cause a disqualification, and then Samoa Joe ran down for the apparent save.
Joe cleared the ring, but then turned on Balor, attacking him and hitting a Muscle Buster before leaving to a bunch of boos from the crowd.
