Harry Smith Makes Big Announcement

Former WWE star Harry Smith has made an announcement via Twitter that he has acquired the rights to use his father’s legendary ring name.

Smith’s father is the late British Bulldog Davey Boy Smith, and Harry Smith will now be using the ring name “British Bulldog” Davey Boy Smith, Jr, as per the announcement below:

“A big announcement to be made! Ownership and trademark of the name “British Bulldog” has been granted, won and paid by me. Now going forward in Pro Wrestling NOAH I will be known as the “British Bulldog” Davey Boy Smith Jr.”

New Championship Wrestling From Hollywood Timeslot

CWH has issued the following:

Hollywood, CA – As the new television season begins there has been a few changes to some Championship Wrestling from Hollywood (CWFH) affiliates. On KDOC-TV Los Angeles, the program has moved to Saturdays at 4:00PM PST. In Kansas City, you can watch CWFH on Time Warner Sports Mondays at 8:00PM and starting Sunday October 25, CWFH can be seen on WFBD-TV Channel 48 Pensacola, FL at 1:00PM. Youtoo America continues our national distribution on Saturdays at 12:00AM/9:00PM PST.

Nick was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan, and lived there until the age of 18, when he decided to pack his flack jacket and move to New York City.

Nick attended New York University and graduated in 2001 with a degree in Drama.

Nick first entered the internet wrestling community back in 2004 when he became the co-host of The Voice of Wrestling Radio Show. From there, Nick made the transition from radio personality to editor when he began working with WrestleZone in 2008.

Nick is a member of two Off-Broadway theatre companies, Another Urban Riff, and the Drama Desk Award winning Godlight Theatre Company. Nick has appeared in over a dozen Off-Broadway plays since he moved to New York City, and has shot several short and feature length films. In 2010, he completed principle photography on a film titled "How to Score Your Life," which also features TNA Knockout ODB.

Inspiration in his life has come from many people including his family, Woody Allen, Steven Spielberg, Jack Nicholson, The Beatles, and of course, Lassie.
