WWE NXT Results (9/9)- Johnny Gargano And Tommaso Ciampa Debut, Samoa Joe And Finn Bálor Take On The Lucha Dragons!

Backstage The Lucha Dragons say they are ready for their match against Samoa Joe and Finn Bálor. They are going to do it for Dusty.

Dana Brooke is backstage and she declares that she is the best wrester in NXT and she will be the next Women’s champion.

Lets hope that never, ever happens. Ok, that is a bit harsh. Brooke still seems extremely out of place in the ring. Maybe once she finds herself, but the idea of her supplanting Bayley as champ is a bit laughable at this point. That said, it will probably happen.

Billie Kay vs Dana Brooke

After tying up, Brooke pushed Kay into the corner. Brooke slaps Kay in the chest before backing up. Kay charges Brooke, but Brook hides between the ropes. Kay traps Brooke into the corner and locks in a side headlock. Brooke tosses Kay into the ropes and Kay hits a head scissor take down. Brooke responds with a take down and a bit of ground and pound. Brooke traps Kay into the corner and chokes Kay with her foot while upside down (yes, you read the correctly). Brooke gets the pin fall after her modified Michinoku driver.

Winner- Dana Brooke

Samoa Joe and Finn Bálor vs The Lucha Dragons

This Dusty Rhodes Tag Classic match actually took place before this week’s Smackdown taping. Bálor and Cara start off. Cara goes for a quick go behind that is quickly countered by Bálor. Bálor gets dropped into an arm bar, which Bálor flips out of before locking in an arm bar of his own. Cara gets out and runs the ropes, but runs right into a high dropkick by Bálor. Kalisto runs in but gets back dropped to the outside. Bálor sends Cara out after him. Bálor dives over the top rope taking out both Cara and Kalisto.

After a short break Joe is in the ring manhandling Cara. Joe traps Cara in the corner before tagging in Bálor. Bálor hit the ropes, but gets caught in a tilt-a-whirl back breaker. Kalisto tags in with a diving splash into a pin, but Bálor kicks out. Cara monkey flips Kalisto onto Bálor, but once again Bálor kicks out. Bálor tags in Joe, who unloads on Cara. Sending him onto the turnbuckle and following that up with Joe’s signature falling enzguri. Kalisto tries to save Cara, but gets a big boot to his face for his troubles. If that wasn’t enough, Joe then crushes Kalisto with a senton. Cara takes this opportunity to dive off the second rope and send Joe crashing to the mat with a tornado ddt. Bálor breaks up the pin fall attempt. Care responds with a springboard Moonsault to Bálor. Joe grabs Cara on the top rope and attempts a muscle buster, but Cara wiggles out into a sunset flip for a two count.

Joe throws Cara into the ropes, but Cara blind tags Kalisto. Cara dives through the ropes to take out Bálor, as Kalisto sneaks up on Joe and almost pins him with a hurricanrana. Kalisto runs into a uranage suplex. Joe follows that with the muscle buster. Bálor comes off the top with the coup de gras for the win.

Winners – Samoa Joe and Finn Bálor
