Several readers, including Arnon Barrera, have sent in word that John Cena appeared to have suffered some type of injury during tonight’s WWE Live Event in Hampton, Virginia.
Cena faced Kevin Owens at tonight’s show, and about halfway through the match Cena went down, the match stopped, and the ref put up the “X” sign.
Cena appeared to be dealing with some type of head or nose injury, which could very well be linked to the broken nose Cena suffered during a Raw match against Seth Rollins.
WWE trainers and medical officials came down and tended to Cena, who eventually got back into the match and went for about another 5 minutes. The match was a Street Fight, and Cena even went through a table at one point before getting the win.
After the match, Cena appeared to be favoring his nose, and he quickly exited to the back instead of his usual post-match celebrating with the fans.
